How is your serum different from other brands?

100% plants. PERIOD. Unlike other brands, we are NOT plant-based. What does that mean? Each drop of serum is packed full of the most powerful plant antioxidants (antioxidants = anti-aging) in nature, NO (synthetic/additional/man-made) ingredients added. How do I use the products?

The Soap: Wet your face with lukewarm water, create a lather, apply in circular motions, rinse thoroughly. The Serum: Use on clean, dry skin. Shake vigorously, work between hands, smooth over face, neck, and décolleté morning and evening using upward sweeping motions. The Cure: After applying Serum, dispense dime-size amount and press into problem areas as spot treatment. The Cream: After serum absorption, massage in hands and glide onto face and neck. The Eye Cream: Apply morning and evening, gently dot under and above eye from inner to outer corner.

How do I incorporate The Serum and The Cure into my routine?

The Cure is a multi-correctional treatment specially formulated with the strongest plants in nature to tackle your most serious skin conditions. For am and pm—cleanse, apply The Serum, then apply The Cure to your trouble areas. If needed, follow with sun protection (am) and moisturizer (pm).

Should I apply over damp skin, like my toner?

We recommend applying the product to DRY skin (not over a damp face or over toner that is still wet) as the heating sensation is greatly enhanced when applied to wet vs. dry skin.

Which level should I start with?

Accepted Answer

We suggest starting with our Serum I, if you are new to Herbal Face Food. Each level up has a higher concentration of plants to target more skin concerns. Our multi-correctional treatment, The Cure, has the highest concentration of antioxidants to deliver maximum results to problematic areas. As our concentration increases with each level, our unique warming sensation gets stronger, which is why we recommend starting with Serum I and increasing your level as your skin gets familiar with the sensation.

Do I NEED to move up in Levels?

No, you don't need to rush through the levels! The key is finding the strength that works best for you. If you're happy with Serum I, you can stay there indefinitely. If you're used to more intensive skincare, you might progress to Serum II or III. However, we don't recommend jumping straight from Serum I to Serum III. It's best to gradually increase the strength to see what suits your skin. Everyone's skin and preferences are different, so stick with what you love!

Where do you source your ingredients from?

Our plants are indigenously grown and responsibly sourced from remote corners of the world. Ylang-ylang is native to the lush rainforests of Indonesia while our myrrh, a native to Africa, is sourced from Kenya. We take great care in selecting our suppliers so you never have to compromise on the best quality ingredients.

Once opened, the shelf life is 12 months. Proper storage and care of your serum includes keeping it out of direct sunlight. In the rare case that you purchase one of our products and find that it is not at its freshest point, please reach out to us so we are able to assist.

We have many pregnant and nursing parents who use our products, and they've shared that their healthcare providers have approved them for use during this time. Our products are made from 100% plant ingredients, which are generally safe for pregnancy. Packages typically ship within 1-4 business days of your order confirmation. Allow an additional 2-5 business days for normal freight time to your destination if in the U.S. Rewards are turned into coupon codes that you use at checkout.
